Travelling by car from Athens
Distance from Athens to Portaria - 340 km. Approximate driving time is 3 hours 30 minutes. Following the Athens – Lamia motorway, after you’ve reached Almiros, continue towards Larisa and then follow directions to Velestino and Volos. 4 km before Volos, you’ll see directions to take the ring road to Portaria.

You will find the Mansion on your right hand side as you’re approaching Portaria village on EO Volou Portarias road. Shortly after the Mansion, 30 meters down the road there is a car park in which you can freely park your car. Alternatively, you can park using off street parking just outside the mansion.

Travelling by car from Thessaloniki
Distance from Thessaloniki to Portaria - 222 km. Approximate driving time is 2 hours 30 minutes.
Follow the Volou – Larisas motorway and take the EO6 exit to Volos. 4 km before Volos, you’ll see directions to take the ring road to Portaria.

Travelling by Rail

Travelling by Plane
Distance from Volos airport (Nea Aghialos) to Portaria – 56km. There are seasonal charter flights and scheduled flights to the airport of Nea Aghialos.

Alternatively, you can fly to Athens airport (El. Venizelos) or Thessaloniki airport (Macedonia), where charter and scheduled flights are available throughout the year.
